Welcome to Thankspark. By creating an account, nominating someone, or sending a thank-you, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Thankspark is a platform where people share a good deed, nominate the person who did it, and send that person a voluntary monetary thank-you. Thankspark is not a charity, escrow service, bank, or money transmitter, and contributions are personal gifts of appreciation — not donations, investments, or payment for services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Thankspark. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login secure. You must verify your email address to post a nomination or vote.
When you nominate someone, you confirm the good deed is true and that you have a good-faith basis to share it. The nominated recipient is emailed and must accept the nomination and verify their email before receiving any payout. Thankspark may verify, hide, or remove nominations, and users can report content for review.
Contributions are processed by Stripe. Thankspark retains a 5% platform fee, and a further 5% of each contribution is set aside (from the recipient's share) for the monthly Do-Gooder Fund. Payment processing fees also apply. The full breakdown is shown before you pay — see our Fees & Refunds page.
Recipients receive their balance via Stripe Connect once they complete onboarding. Recipients are solely responsible for any taxes on amounts they receive. Thankspark does not guarantee that any nomination will receive contributions.
You agree not to post false, misleading, harassing, infringing, or unlawful content; not to impersonate others; and not to use Thankspark for fraud, money laundering, or to solicit funds under false pretenses. We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these Terms.
Because contributions are voluntary gifts, they are generally non-refundable once processed. If you believe a charge was made in error or fraudulently, contact us promptly and we will review it. See the Fees & Refunds page for details.
Thankspark is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thankspark is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees we earned on the transaction in question.
